Abstract

Water is an integral part of oil and gas production both as a necessary ingredient and as a by-product. This study characterizes produced water effluents from the Gummry Oil Field Processing Facility in Upper Nile State, South Sudan, analyzing the chemical composition and environmental implications of these effluents for water resource management.
