Denis D. K. Odubasa

Abstract

The River Nile is the longest river in the world, flowing northward and draining about one tenth of Africa. This study examines the effect of selected limnological factors including pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, transparency, total alkalinity, and electrical conductivity on phytoplankton distribution and abundance in a section of the River Nile.
