Prevalence of Major Skin Diseases among Nilotic Zebu Cattle in Bahr El Ghazal Region, South Sudan

Abstract

South Sudan has substantial livestock resources with the national herd being the 7th largest in Africa. This study investigates the prevalence of major skin diseases among Nilotic Zebu cattle in the Bahr El Ghazal Region, examining their impact on leather quality and livestock productivity. The findings provide insights for disease management and improvement of the livestock sub-sector.
