The Journal of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies (JONARES) is a biannual refereed specialized journal of the College of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies (CNRES), University of Juba, South Sudan.
JONARES aims to publish original research papers and technical reviews in various fields of natural resources including animal production, crop production, fisheries, forestry, geology, food and nutrition, wildlife and environmental sciences.
As the first scientific ever-to-be published refereed journal by the academia in South Sudan, JONARES plays a crucial role in advancing research and knowledge in the region.
Review articles must be comprehensive and up-to-date. They are intended to bring readers sufficiently close to the state-of-the-art of covered topics and help researchers identify potential research problems.
JONARES also publishes reports, proceedings of meetings and conferences of developmental and scientific merits, contributing to the advancement of natural resources and environmental studies in South Sudan and beyond.
